Privacy Policy
AEROUTE (hereinafter referred to as the "App") is an iOS application that records your driving data (driving route, speed, distance, smoothness score, etc.) on your device. This policy explains what information the App handles.
01. Information We Collect
The App collects the following information:
LOCATION / GPS
The App uses your device's location information to record driving routes, distances, and speeds. Location information is obtained only from the time you start recording until you end it, and is not obtained when not related to recording.
During a drive, the App continues to record even while in the background, so location information is obtained in the background, but this is also strictly limited to while recording.
DRIVE DATA
For each recorded drive, the following data is generated and saved:
- Driving date/time, distance, and duration
- Average speed and maximum speed
- Driving route (sequence of GPS coordinates) and speed for each section
- Number of turns (right/left)
- "Smoothness Score" indicating driving smoothness
MOTION DATA / ACCELERATION
To calculate the smoothness score, data obtained from the device's acceleration sensor (Core Motion) is temporarily used. The raw acceleration data itself is not saved; only the calculated score is saved as part of the drive data.
APP SETTINGS
In-app settings such as display language and measurement units (km/mile) are saved on your device.
APP USAGE / CRASH REPORTS
To improve the quality of the App, we use various features of "Firebase" provided by Google (Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics) to collect information regarding app usage and operational stability. For details on the information collected, please refer to "04. Third-Party Services".
DO NOT COLLECT
The App does not have account registration or sign-in features, and does not collect personally identifiable information such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers.SAFE
02. Data Storage and Transmission to Third Parties
The drive data and app settings mentioned above are entirely saved only within your device and are never transmitted to servers operated by the developers of this App.
On the other hand, information related to the services described in "04. Third-Party Services" (Google AdMob, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics) may be transmitted to the servers of the respective service operators (Google) through those services.
03. Data Deletion
Each driving record can be individually deleted at any time through operations within the App. Additionally, deleting (uninstalling) the App from your device will result in the loss of all data saved within the device.WARNING
04. Third-Party Services
GOOGLE ADMOB
The App uses "Google AdMob" provided by Google to display advertisements. Accordingly, Google may collect information for ad delivery and measurement (device information, advertising identifiers, approximate location information, etc.) based on its own privacy policy.
FIREBASE ANALYTICS
The App uses "Firebase Analytics" provided by Google to understand app usage and improve quality. Through this, the following information is collected:
- Screen view status (which screens were displayed)
- Operation events such as start, end, and resume of drive recording (including drive data such as distance, duration, average/max speed, turn count, and smoothness score)
- Display status of advertisements related to the FLYOVER feature
- Technical information such as the app version, device OS information, and anonymous device identifiers issued by Firebase
This information is not collected in association with personally identifiable information such as names or email addresses.
FIREBASE CRASHLYTICS
The App uses "Firebase Crashlytics" provided by Google to grasp and quickly fix abnormal terminations (crashes) and minor issues (non-fatal errors) such as failures in reading/writing recorded data. Through this, stack traces at the time of crashes, occurrence dates and times, app versions, and device OS information are collected.

The handling of data by Google in any of the above services is also conducted based on the following Google Privacy Policy:
05. Children's Privacy
The App does not intentionally collect personally identifiable information from children.
06. Changes to this Policy
We may change the contents of this policy due to changes in laws and regulations or the addition of functions to the App. In the event of important changes, we will notify you within the App or by updating this document.
